What we collect
- Your name, email, and date of birth, when you sign up.
- A government ID document, to verify riders and owners are who they say they are — reviewed by a person, then kept on file for verification purposes.
- Your home area and, for matching, your precise location — never shown to anyone directly (see below).
- For riders: height, weight, riding experience, and preferences — used only to check a horse is a safe match for you.
- For owners: details about each horse and what it needs.
- Messages and ride plans exchanged through the app, once a request is accepted.
What we never share
- A rider's weight is never shown to anyone, including the horse's owner — it is only ever used internally to check a horse's carrying limit.
- A horse's exact location and its owner's full name stay hidden from a rider until the owner accepts a request from them.
- ID documents are only ever seen by the person reviewing verification — never shown to other members.
How we use it
To run the matching and messaging features described on this site, to verify who's using the platform, and to keep the community safe. We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Placeholder — real retention periods (and what happens to ID documents and message history after account deletion) need defining here.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by contacting us. Placeholder — the full rights list (access, correction, deletion, portability, objection) needs confirming against Swiss FADP and GDPR requirements.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in — nothing for advertising or cross-site tracking.
